turbo filter adapter gasket?

Hey everyone,
Re: 5 Cylinder turbo engine.......
I am nearly done with my turbo 'kit'. I got the twin filter, oil feed, oil cooler in/out thing a-ma-jigg. I was wondering if there is supposed to be a gasket that goes between the piece and the block. I don't think there was one on the car I took it off of, but I think it would be important to have if there is supposed to be one.
