Supercharged MC?

Hello everyone,
Having my turbo quantum syncro running has given me some time to think about the next step and also has made me longing to tinker with it some more. So here is what I've come up with, any constructive criticism is welcome.
Use the stock MC bottom end with 7:1 pistons, or a thicker head gasket or shave the pistons if they can be shaved enough. On top of that, either an MC head with 40mm NG intake valves, or NG head with MC sodium filled exhaust valves. A roots supercharger can give 10+ psi of boost off idle which will mean the low CR won't hurt performance. I would need an intercooler, but I could either use water/alcohol injection, or an intercooler built into the intake manifold like some of the callaway turbo cars used. An EFI system would give me plenty of fuel, and either the NG knock sensing or the MC ignition would work. The JT header or a custom header would flow well enough I think.
I know a turbo engine could make the same power, and I know that it would be easier since they are already engineered and everything, but I haven't ever seen a supercharged Audi I5 and I wanna do something unique like that.
Just looking for some feedback, maybe there is something major that I'm neglecting to realize. I know where a SC will fit. It will go right where the power steering pump is along side the engine, and then the PS pump could be relocated easily I think.
Still have a lot to think about and look at but I think it could work.
Mike
