Beam pattern and high beam dash light problem

Installed the Blau harness on my existing H4 Euros and fooled the Autocheck by
jumping 56bL to 56bL1.

Now, I am puzzled about the following and I really need your help. 

The drivers side beam pattern is very vague, without a sharp cutoff/angle and
significantly different than the passenger side. The passenger side pattern is
as expected. I've tried the headlight adjusters, but nothing changes.

Also, the high beam dash light does not come on although high beams appear to
work fine.

What's going on here?
