cat-back exhaust, front AR bar, struts/shocks, tires, brake pads. You can do
more in street prepared: wheels, springs/rear AR bar, brake calipers/rotors.
Engine work really gives you the bone, and turbo/ECU/IC stuff is considered
a REAL boost ;-) to performance and capability. I mean, just with a $15 QLCC
chip, you can crank from 162 to 220 Hp. That would cost $4k on an NA engine,
so it's "frowned upon" by making it competition-inhibited.
This is not to say that you can't have fun always placing last to very fast
cars in a really hot urq. Just as you can have fun being the least-slow in a
herd of turtles, like my 4kq.
