few more seconds at WOT. After the obligatory shift the wastegate
chatters away just like the trans am cars (it did this before the
stiffer spring but now it is much more pronounced) which is certainly
music to my ears. I don't think I'll get tired of that noise anytime
soon!

The big Isuzu NPR diesel intercooler is doing the job wonderfully.
Intake temps are always cool when on boost. Funny thing is that the
highest temps show up just after I start the car back up after a good
run and then drop right back down as soon as I get moving.

Oil temps have me a little concerned.. the day before I put the fat
spring in I was cruising on the highway at about 85 (but not really
pushing the car that hard) and my oil temps got as high as 150 deg C
which is too hot for my tastes. This probably has something to do with
me going back to the stock hood as I never had oil temps get up that
high when I had the vented Sport Q hood installed. I'll also try to rig
up some ducting to the oil cooler as it is in a pretty bad spot right
now which certainly isn't helping.

I can't wait till I get the Saab APC unit hooked up which should give me
even more boost and the added bonus of knock detection to back down on
the boost automatically.

That's enough of a rambling post for now :-)
