agreed.  It doesn't quite get into the red zone of the stock digi-gauge
(and this all asumes the gauge is reading right) but if it is true it is
way to hot for comfort.

Yes, I'll be making some mods to improve airflow.  Plus as soon as I get
the vented hood painted it will go back on which should greatly improve
things.

I want to install an EGT gauge, that'll be a mod that I'll do when I
have the car apart for header fitment anyway.  The high oil temps are
not a leaning at WOT issue.. these temps occur at part throttle just
cruising on the highway at ~85.  o2 gauge shows fine under boost but I
did have a problem with leaning out on partial throttle which I resolved
yesterday (fuel mapping issue).  It is possible I was pinging under part
throttle and cooking the hell out of my oil but I'm pretty sure I would
have heard detonation of that magnitude.. not to mention that my
ignition system would have backed way the heck off on timing.
