installing door molding on 4kq

A trick that I used on my 4kq when the side mouldings were peeling, was
to use two-part epoxy glue. My original adhesive strips were still in
place, they just weren't very adhesive any more. I cleaned them with a
wax/grease removing solvent, then mixed up the two-part epoxy and
"painted" it onto the old adhesive foam strips. I had to sit there for
15 minutes and hold the moulding in place while the epoxy dried.
That was more than 2 years ago, and the moulding is still very solidly
attached - it doesnt budge or wiggle at all if you grab it and try to
pull it off.
Now if for some reason the moulding needs to be removed (I can't imagine
why) in the future.... well I'm probably SOL on that.
