Help! How to remove rounded trans plug??

Stole the words right out of my mouth, did that to the 90tq just the
other week, works like a charm :), I think it was a 7/16"(don't need
those 'murican ones anyway;) socket ground down to just above where the
3/8" male extension stops, then welded one right into both the drain and
filler plugs.
