stuff was of much better quality than the later stuff. I don't know if they
changed manufacturers, or if their quality control fell off (and I mean way
off!) but the quality was very good at one time.

But don't rule them out. $ for $ they are a great value. I have been running
Jamex Sportline 1.5" drop springs/shocks and upper stress bar on the CGT
turbo since '99. The car handles great, doesn't rub (unless I have 3 big
people in the back seat, which is not often) and only cost somewhere in the
$500 ballpark for both springs and shocks when I bought them (granted it was
'99).

Jamex seems to get the same response from my VW/Audi friends that I
get from Chevy/Ford buddies when I tell them about my '84 CGT turbo. You
just have to be in the know to appreciate them.
