Jason, I know what you mean, I would love to have a Pikes Peak SUV when
available - but if they are going to charge $70k+, forget it!

I'm a new Audi owner (drove Jettas since 1986) and I have to agree on the
driver male-to-female ratio, although it seems higher female on A6's.

The salesman from whom I bought my car had a 20-minute test route laid out
that included a long straight stretch so you could get into 6th gear, some
sweeping curves, some tight curves and a washboard gravel road!! He told
me to nail the gas when I pulled out of the gravel road back onto pavement
- 'See, no wheelspin!' and as I approached a tight S-curve, he told me to
drop it into second halfway through and nail it, to see the traction
available in the curves... That drive really convinced me of the merits of
the quattro as a handling device. He sold me!

BTW, saw an add for the AWD Infiniti G35 on TV last night, where they
touted the benefits of their part-time AWD system, saying that full-time
AWD doesn't bebenfit handling like RWD.... Obviously aimed directly at
Audi!

Oh, and why doesn't Audi advertise on TV? All I've ever seen is that one
add where they show quattro through the years....
