1989 100 Auto Transmission questions

Go to www.bobistheoilguy.com and search the additives forum for AutoRx,
Auto-RX, and/or Auto Rx.

Some people there are having good results using it in slushboxes. It's
basically a very gentle ester-based cleaner, originally intended for the
crankcase.

I used it in a 4kq that had no service records, and when I dropped the pan
for a seal replacement it was very clean inside. Never looked _before_ so
to be fair it could be that my 4kq got great maintenance by the PO. There
is a thread about use by a fork truck maintenance facility that's pretty
intresting, and it also comes with a money-bacik guarantee.

Please note: I'm well aware of the position that many people take on
additives- please don't come back to me with claims of 'unscientific
testing' (mostly true) or 'snake oil!'. I'm offering it up as a potential
remedy that's a hell of a lot cheaper than getting the tranny rebuilt and
has near zero risk.

Follow the directions!
