[admin] the new registry

Howdy folks. If you haven't noticed, there is a new piece of code,
affectionately known as Registry2. I placed this code up there mostly to
give a little stress test to a new code base. Thanks to the 40+ people
that have registered there.

After a bit of thought, I am going to close it down for new
registrations for the rest of the week while I port all the information
from the old registry into the new registry. The old registry will not
go away until it seems that things are running smooth and that I've
implemented all the features of the old in the new code.

Reasons for doing this:
 * the new registry has a much more maintainable code base. easier for
 me to make changes and fixes.
 * the new registry handles pictures a LOT smarter than the last code.
 sorry it's hard to see, but it makes my job easier.
