I just replace a leaking section of the supply line (pump to engine) under
my 200q20v with high pressure rubber-like fuel line. I don't know what the
model 90 cars use to hold the lines in place, but if it's those stainless
bands, they come apart by prying with a screwdriver. Insert it in the
small slot where the band is fastened together and you can pry it open. I
couldn't get the bands reclipped together because of the bulk of the
flexible line, so I Zip-tied each band as closed as I could. I didn't want
to cut up the rubber mounting inside the bands because I thought I might
splice in a metal replacement next summer if I get the chance.
