I'm up for a gathering after two long years. I'm good for 10/25 or 10/26
or weekends following that (18th is my 30th high school reunion..egaads).
John Harvard's works for me. Kent's suggestions are very sound. We need to
meet early enough so that we have sun light!
Hope we can pull it together.

I wrote up some notes on the last dinner as to good
days and times, but it seems the link in the Audifans
archive is broken. So I'll try again:
- Saturday or Sunday afternoon is good
- A 2:00pm lunch is good as it is after the noon-time
crowd and before the early-bird diners. People
can meet at 1:00pm for a pre-lunch parking lot
show, and there is still time for after-lunch gawking.
- John Harvard's is good as it has plenty of parking.
- Collecting money at the end of dinner is a pain.
If you can collect $20-25/person up front (at the
restaurant, before they order), that should cover
the bill and tip. Any extra can go to the Dan,
to support the Audifans list services. If you're
short money, you can still collect the few bucks
necessary to cover the bill.
- Give yourself two weeks to prepare it. One
week to get the word out, one week to get
responses. Notify the restaurant 4-5 days
before hand, and give them a final count the
day before. They'll still be able to handle
any latecomers. They gave us space in their
back room, which worked out well.
I'm good for 10/18, 10/19, 10/25, or 10/26.
And don't forget to invite Phil Payne. :-)
Cheers,
Kent
