Ok folks,

I decided to pass on the A4 2.8q Avant.  Things just didn't quite seem righ=
t=2E  BTW, if anyone is interested in this one and wants contact info on th=

So now I'm looking at a 94 100CSQ auto sedan with 98k miles.  Owner is aski=
ng $6k but I think I can get it for $4.5k to $5k.  Any thing to look out fo=
r on these and if it checks out ok, is this a reasonable price?  I'm trying=
 to decide between a 95 Subaru Legacy AWD wagon (74k mile and $3350) or sti=
cking to an Audi.  The Suby drove ok.  Felt like an econo box, light and no=
t very sturdy but good enough as a daily commuter.

Also, there was 97 A4 1.8tq with 57k miles, leather interior, Brobet(?) whe=
els for sale for $8.5k in northern VA.  I checked out the car and drove it.=
  Very nice.  Right rear door has a light scrape.  Bodywork is ok with some=
 dings and scratches.  Interior is clean.  I'm not interested, but if anyon=
