Replacing oil pan seal, any others I should do while down thier

Hello,
  I am looking at replacing the oil pan gasket on my 87 4KQ, it appears
to be leaking badly.  Since I will be elbow deep in oil stuff, are thier
any other "easy" to replace gaskets/seals that I should attend to?
Also, it looks really straight forward on replacing the oil pan gasket,
is thier anything that I should be aware of, outside of drain your oil
first..:-)
