I was wondering about something. I was doing some work on my engine (KX,
replacing lifters ) I took the timing belt off of the cam shaft pulley of
course. But first I lined the mark on the back of the pulley with the top
of the head. When I put the belt back on I put it in the same position. Or
at least I thought that I did. Now when I drive the idle is a little rough,
and there is no power after 4500-5000 rpm like there used to be. I was
wondering if this sounds like a timing belt that is maybe 1 tooth off? So
if that is the case. I know about the mark on the pulley to find out where
the cam should be, is there an easy way to find out where the crank is? Or
is it easier to pull the #1 plug and get the piston to tdc? I can not find
the 0 mark on the flywheel, if it is there, I can not see it.

TIA

Nate
