Help Troubleshooting wipers, type 44

AFAIK:
Wiper motor that fails in the upright position is the motor "park" issue.
Replace motor.
Since yours works funny with respect to the stalk lever, I'd suspect its
contacts OR the relay(s) involved in running the wipers.
If you think the motor (OR its connectors possibly?)are the issue, I
recently did them.

had failed, but it has been suggested
that there may be a failure in the "return spot" of the wiper
motor itself. The problem is, I have no idea how to determine
which has failed, the motor, or the combo switch. Bentley
is NO help on this particular diagnosis, no electrical diagnosis
procedures for testing the motor.
