as I recall, on the turbo motors as a safety feature, the ECU can
control the FPR by providing its ground.  That is the wire in question.
  On your car B/S may be an empty connection, but it is connected inside
the fusebox to the FPR.  (see my fusebox diagram at:
http://www.humanspeakers.com/cgi-bin/audi_img.pl?image=fusebox.gif )

try to run a wire from it to that ECU connection, and use the KH FPR.

I hope that actually helps you, since I have little "hands on" with this.

it is just a heater circuit, so, yes track 15 power (on with ignition)
is what you want to use.
