Big freaking vent against Audi

In my experiance 52k on a timing belt is alot. Porsche 944s need a timing belt every 40k and at my shop I have seen countless 944s break them at right arround 42k. We joke that they break at 40,000.01 miles they are so bad. I always make sure to let my customers know this and if they aren't sure when it was last done it gets done right away. Maybe more regular check ups on your car would have revealed a worn/rotting belt?
