Hi Tom,
I did this job on my old '86 100CS. I split the job over a couple of days.
On the first day I think it took about 4 hours to remove the heater core,
then an hour to mend it (I soldered up and then pinched off the leaky
section) and then it took about 2 hours to put it all back together. It
took less time to get it back just because I'd learnt how it all fits
together properly as I was taking it apart.
Cheers, Mike.

I've been looking at a 100CS (1992) for sale locally which needs a heater
core replacement. Can I assume the car is built around the heater core? Any
estimates of time to replace?
