I agree with Huw that leaking injectors could very well be how the gas gets
into the oil.
Note that the injectors on the 5ktq inject into the intake manifold, not the
cylinder, so the gas would need to leak through an open intake valve to the
cylinder, and then to the oil.
The 5ktq pulls an aggressive vacuum on the crankcase (thereby the stall when
oil filler cap is open). If the car/oil gets hot, and has a good vacuum to
purge the vapors, it should be able to remove the gas from the oil no matter
how it gets there.
I would check the thermostat, and make sure the vacuum lines to the
crankcase are correct -- the car should stall at idle when the oil filler
cap is removed.
I would also do a compression check. You could be blowing A/F mixture (raw
gas) into the crankcase during compression strokes.
