Seeking Tips/Assistance R+R'ing Combo Switch, '89 200Q with Trip Computer

I believe you will find in the appropriate section of the Bentley that the
airbag has a "power storage unit" separate from the battery, so merely
disconnecting the battery when removing the steering wheel is not quite as
"safe" as you might have been thinking...
