100Q diff vs 5000TQ

Yep, anyway i only  want to know if i  can swap the ratio from the 100Q to the 5000TQ (3.89 to 4.11)

    I believe the ratio is located at the ring and pinions, one in the transaxle and one in the rear diff. In my understanding the center diff has no bearing on final drive ratios.

   I could be wrong, I  am sure some one on the list knows for sure.
