Antenna Amp Location, '93 100CSQ Avant

Posting question for a friend.

Does anyone know where the antenna booster amplifier is
located on a '93 100 CS wagon (C4 body, I think)? Is it
in the D-pillar, or is it behind the cargo compartment light
assy on the roof, below the antenna. Also, does anyone
know how to get the appropriate panel of the interior
of the car in order to gain access to the amplifier?
