Valve Spring Compressor Updates

Morning Everyone,

Thanks for all youre input on this issue. AS requested heres a little more
information on what I am up to and what I need.

I have the head off the motor, cleaned and on the bench.

I used a 'c' compressor (sears POS) along with an O2 sensor socket to remove
all the valves, it worked but was a PITA.

I am now in the process of porting and polishing the head beofre dropping it
into my local machine shop to have it decked flat, along with having the
manifold face scraped flat. (plus having them remove the broken stud with
the broken tungsten stud extractor stuck in it removed)

I then need to reinstall the valves after I have done the seats, and I
really dont want to have to use the O2 socket again. I remember using an
extension for the c-compressor when I lived in the UK, but havent managed to
find one here yet.

Byt he sounds of it they do exist so I will try to find one, rather than
using the bar technique which seems more suited to head on block valve stem
oil seal work.

So if anyone has a link for where to get said extension that would be great.

one more question...whats the best way to remove the old valve stem oil
seals that are now hard as rock?

Cheers

Timmmy
