Type 44 Airbag Auxiliary Power Source

In my '91 200q20v, I disconnected the battery, then pulled the left
cover for the center console. Attached to the cover is a 2-pin connector
for the air bag triggering unit. Unplug this and you'll be all set. I
removed my air bag 3 times without problems (and was very nervous each
time)!

Hi List,

I'm trying to decipher the Bentley's (so what else
is new?). How do you (safely) disconnect the airbag
auxiliary power source? Also, is this the ONLY power
source to disconnect when removing the steering wheel,
or should you also disconnect the battery?
