Bah! Screw the red bulbs.
Go with a red LED and a 1k ohm resistor.
Just as bright, AND it will last forever (or a least 10 years or so).
I've actually already sent a procedure directly to the person asking
about the seat heater switches.
It's a 171kb zipped file if anyone wants a copy. I've created it in the
form of an HTML page, just make sure you unzip it into a directory and
have the pics in the same directory as the HTML file.
By the way, I used 5mm LEDs for the seat heater switches, and T1 LEDs
for both the sunroof switch and the window switches. The sunroof and
window switches on my '93 90S had LEDs originally, but too small of a
resistor, resulting in burn-out. Replace the resistor with a 1k ohm
resistor when working on the sunroof or window switches.
