Neither- they're heavier than a 90q20v, for example.

This is due to the fact that the Coupe is in fact based off the
later, heavier V6 90 platform- it was a sort of "trial" by Audi, in
the same way the 200q20v was a trial of the 20vt in a big car.

It is easier to do the conversion because there are a variety of
parts which you can aquire that come from the S2...and the engine
compartment was designed to accept that engine, for the most part.
Nobody intended the 20vt to fit into a 80/90 non-V6 engine
compartment.
