It's a BS comparison, amount of income doesn't really mean squat.  A
person making $55,000.00 a year in NYC lives like a beggar compared to a
person earning $10,000 a year in many a comparable city in the "3rd"
world.  A million dollar house in LA or Boston is a $35,000 "shack" in
other places.

It's all relative.  Even more pronounced in Europe (where they make
Audi's-MAC) with the Euro where it is.
