Fred, Frank, and others,
A simple and very effective solution is to use a piece of coolant hose that
is zip tied to the spot on the brake hose or e-brake cable where it rubs.
Pick the appropriate diameter, slit the hose, mount and zip tie. You can
even use a few "dots" of Goop adhesive to make the install even more secure.
This technique works like a champ on 4kq e-brake cable housings where they
rub on the rear subframe.
