Yes, I believe there is...there is an NF motor that has the 10:1 comp., 2.3l
displacement, but still uses the roundish 10v ports with a standarnd style
one-piece intake manifold, 40mm intake valves, and injectors in the head. IME
only the really early NF motors have this.
BUT...none of this is required to take a 4kq to 2.3l, only the bottom end is.
If one wanted to swap in an entire NG/NG motor with CIS3, then I'd say that
it isn't necessary to get the power out of the 2.3, the CISE will fuel and run
it just fine, power output will be very similar.
