sorry it's 3am and I'm just a bit peeved.

some numbnuts just broke into my 200q20v. luckily I was up when it happened
(1.15) and thanks to Audi's distinctive alarm I was out there within 10-20
seconds. I guess all the time I've cursed it for going off and for once it
actually does something.

they broke the rear drivers quarter window (?!!!??!) and unscrewed the door
lock, then the alarm went off. they didnt get anything, and anything worth
stealing in the car would have taken more than a few seconds to get at.

unfortunately I didn't see anyone running. I would have loved to get at them.

oh well. call the cops. wait. wait. wait. and wait some more. where are they?
in the parking lot accross the street, but we can't see them until we walk
outside the wall, but it's only several hundred yards away. what are they doing?
the three of them are sitting around a car they pulled over.

ok sure, they need the support. or something, but they had taken my number,
why couldn't they at least give us a call to let us know that they'd be a bit
delayed?

and the cop wondered why I was a bit...hostile towards him.

anyways, sorry for the rant folks, I'm just not ready to head to bed yet.

next question is, anyone have a drivers rear quarter window I could get for
an affordable price, and lastly can anyone recommend a good window shop in the
San Jose area?

thanks for listening to my rant,

Ian Gall
