wheel/tire fitment 87 cgt

My 15x7" ET37 rims with 195/50/15 tires come VERY close to rubbing at the rear. Another .5" of width and 2MM less offset and they WOULD rub, and I'm not lowered.

Hi All,
Subject is any 87 cgt, will be lowered approx 1.75-2.0". Any one know what the widest set of rims and tires i can squeeze under there is? I was thinking 16" X 7.5" w/35mm offset with 205/45-16 tires. But you know what they say, wider is better... TIA
