Loss of fuel system pressure?

Hi all. Having issues with my '86 4kq. Any insights would be most helpful :o)
Symptoms:
- Car starts fine when cold and idles solidly around 1K, but dies abruptly and completely after about two minutes and will not start. Fuel pump can be heard carrying on noisily for a second or two after car dies, then it stops. If I let the car sit for a while, it will start again, but once it reaches a certain point, it dies. What that point is dictated by, I don't know. Fuel pressure? Engine temp?
- Car runs pig rich.
- Car has a tendency to cut off going around sharp bends.
- Car sometimes "leaks" fuel just behind passenger side rear wheel, like it's coming out the overflow line, but tank is nowhere near full (1/2 tank or so).
Replaced:
- Fuel pump + check valve
- Both fuel filters
- Fuel accumulator
Do these cars have charcoal canisters or some form of evaporative emissions system? If so, could an obstruction in one of those lines cause the problems mentioned?
Had similar issues? What fixed it?
Thanks
Matt
