hunt for a canister purge valve

Hi all,

I'm trying to source a replacement canister purge valve for a 3A engine, 
as mine appears to have disintegrated. I'm reluctant to pay the £90 the 
dealer is asking for a new one, and calls to various scrapyards and used 
parts suppliers have proved unhelpful.

It occurred to me it might be the sort of thing a lister might be able 
to help me out with; the MOT's later this month, so you guys are my last 
hope before I have to pay Audi £90 for a little bit of plastic!

Apparently some models have vacuum-controlled valves and some have 
solenoids; this one's a solenoid. The part no on the broken valve is
026 133 517, though there's an identical-looking valve at the other end 
of the line with the part no 053 133 517, so I think either of those 
would do.

So if anyone could help me out, I'd be most grateful!
