Tire size on a '87 5000CS QT

Mods wouldn't be a problem.
I got a torch that will fix that roof and door handle problem.
I was just looking this afternoon at the tires and on the front it looks as
if the spring bracket on the strut tower might get in the way. But when I
wrote the first email I forgot about possibly putting on spacers to push out
the wheels a little, maybe up to 2"? If I need some extra room in the wheel
well , I bet the torch can take care of that too.

So if that turbo I-5 just doesn't have enough oomph (torque) on the beach,
how hard would it be to drop a chevy 350 in there???

Britt,

I have 235/45/R17 on the LT1Q, alas extensive rear and front guard mods
were required. ;-) I doubt you would get a 215 in a tall profile like
an 85 to fit without mods
