Socket for tourquing know sensor ???

My knock sensor has the wire coming off one side and the bolt goes through a hole in the middle. Maybe it's different on other cars?

What about the wire? Seems to me that it would be just like an O2 sensor where you can't put a socket on it because of the meter of wire that's permanently attatched.
