An inexpensive (but nowhere near as satisfactory) solution to the "I can't
see to drive after dark" problem is to install a pair of clear lens fog
lights aimed so that the reasonably flat light beam is below horizontal and
a pair of driving lights aimed to flood the road ahead with light. There
are el-cheapo brand 100 watt lights which are fairly suitable for this task
available at places like JCWhitney for something on the order of $35-$40
per pair of lights.

Note, this is NOT the ideal solution but it will help your vision at
night. Be aware that while this will help YOUR vision it will likely harm
the vision of approaching drivers. Be quick on the dimmer switch and be
sure the fog lights are aimed so as not to blind oncoming
drivers. Consider this as a temporary solution until such time as you can
afford the far superior Eurolights. When that time arrives then
immediately dump the el-cheapos.

Tax cuts for the Resident's cronies. $87 billion for Iraq. $500+ billion
deficit. School libraries closing. Yep - no child left behind.
