That is correct. The module that supplies power to the window and
sunroof circuits does so from the time the key is turned on until a
front door is opened.
If you undo and pull out the front door switches, you will find two
wires going to each one. One triggers the interior light timer (which
either turns off after 30 seconds or so, or when the ignition is turned
on...). The other tells the window/roof controller to turn them off.
On my 90Q I disconnected the passenger side wire, since I wanted to be
able to keep closing things after shut-off even if a passenger opened
the door.
