CGT upshift light (switch), and smog

Hi Huw,

Yeah, I bypassed it this morning, and got it smogged. My new passing results are HC= 0.46/1.60, CO= 5.74/15.00, NOX= 1.53/2.50.

Feels good to get The Man off my back and get some maintenance done on one of the Audis at the same time. Maybe I'll save on some of that expensive gasoline now with the fresh plugs. My old ones were really bad! I've been spread too thin amongst all the cars here. But this n/a motor is only temporary, so I haven't been worried about keeping it up very much.

I will keep my eyes out for another upshift switch, not that I get to the boneyard that often. I don't really shift when it would suggest, but I like having stuff work and it might be a good indicator of a vacuum leak if it stops working again.

Thanks for the responses!

Ken
