Bushings on the trailing/lateral links?
How old are they. Unfortunately, at least
on the type 44, it's hard to just find just
the ends, so it's not usually the cheapest
thing to replace, and it requires an alignment.
See if the joint boots are compromised. If so,
you can temporarily quiet them by spraying in
some spray lithium and covering the broken boot
with some rubber such as an inner tube.

I'm getting a chirping noise from the rear suspension of my S6 avant when I
go over bumps. The car has an Eibach/Bilstein setup and has a Happersized
rear bar.
It seemed to start when I had an alignment done about a week ago. I also put
my summer tires on about 2-3 weeks ago.
Thoughts?
