i have crashed 2 audi's, my 5000cstq was slammed into when someone ran a
redlight in LA. i swerved enuff to spare my freind having a honda removed
from his forehead and the rear pass door took all of the impact. his late
model accord was TRASHED. my door was dented.
in my 90, i was cut off by someone turning left in front of me [effing CA
drivers..] i hit the brakes, swerved and clipped the rear pass 1/4 panel of
his late model civic coupe [what is it with me and hondas!?!?]. my fender
and hood were dented adn the turn signal was trashed [headlight survived].
his car was n ot driveable as the rr wheel was perpendicular to the fender,
which was totally caved in. it makes me REALLY nervous that my GF drives the
exact same car. furtunately she drives like she's an old lady and the car is
made of glass.
i felt safer in the 5000, its heavier and just more solid. if i were carting
around a kid i would get the bigger car. the 80/90, is still MUCH more solid
than just about anything it's size.
IMO of course...
