Chris,
Funny story. I'm sure we've all met them - the marginally insane that have
been released into the population with the hope that the "sanity" of the
masses will rub off on them.
I met one when I was bringing back my first DKW from Penn. years ago. After
a day of meeting people's stares on the interstates and answering questions
at the rest stops of PA and NY as we returned to Ontario, we stopped at a
rest stop near Kingston. A few people came up and asked what the car was
(most thought it was a Nash Metropolitan), this disshevled guy came up and
stared at the car on the trailer. After a minute, he turned to me and
said....."Is it any good?" I'm still unsure what he was asking.
