Alan,
I read TB as throttle body - don't change that. Do Change the timing
belt (the other TB) and the water pump. You may also want to replace the
cam bearing as they can leak with age. Sorry for my earlier misdirected
advice.

Only the top half has to come off. Undo the bolts and remove the TB
hose and a vacuum hose or two and it can pretty much fold back out of
the way.

The intermediate IM gasket, cam cover gasket maybe, and of course now
would be a great time to replace your tappets (cam followers). Fuel
injectors are also easy it this point, as are the ISV and other hoses.
You can at least check them while you're in there. Front cam seal, of
course.
