Just so happens that I have the parts in front of me. I bought them about 6
months ago. One of these days I will take pix and fabricate the repalacement
for the Audi center bearing.
I think these are Mercedes Benz parts . .. but dont quote me on it.
Meyle Products . . Center support (Drive shaft) - Art. No. 014 041 0045
Meyle Products . . Ball Bearing - Art. No. 014 098 0017
The replacement task requires:
1. Drilling out about 6 spot welds that attach the MB bracket to the MB
bearing carrier.
2. Seperating support from the Audi bearing carrier by grinding off the
welds.
3. Spot welding the Audi support to the MB bearing carrier
The above 2 parts cost me about $45.
