Connecticut Transmission for my Audi ?

My really nice 89 Audi 200 Automatic Non-Q I think needs a transmission.

I still have some sort of fuel sensor to replace . . . 
which might affect how the transmission operates . . . .
but I did write last year about the howling in the front end.

Does anyone living in or near CT have someone they know of whom I can have do a automatic transmission.

I would like to take the car with me to Flagstaff.    But if I cannot find someone reliable to fix it, I am sure it won't make it up the mountains.

But having had back surgery, this is by far the most comfortable car I have ever driven and I would like to keep it.
