Cheapest Move ?

I am not an accountant and I do not play one on TV, but I have read you 
can do better by donating stuff to charity and writing it off than 
having a yard sale.  Of course this depends heavily on your 
tax/financial situation.  It sure is easier though.

If you do need to ship the car the internet has made finding the best 
deal very easy.  I just bought a 3/4 suburban and had it shipped to me 
from out of state.  Another person I know got a 3/4 ton suburban (6000 
lb vehicle) in FL an had it shipped to OR for $1080.  Of course some 
quotes were closer to $3k.  A regular car should be cheaper.

BTW shouldn't you be doing this move in the fall so you can miss the
