S4 Alignment question

Hi there,
Asking a question for a friend non-lister.
Car is a 2000 neu-S4. Beautiful car, Nogaro blue with light gray interior.
Mods includes chip, short-shift kit, 18” BBS VZ wheels with Toyo Proxes 4,
cat-back stainless exhaust and (causing problems) lowering springs and
stiffer shocks.
Clearly, this is an enthusiast, but he is kinda mechanically-challenged, so
he must trust his mechanic for installation/repairs. Poor soul, he doesn’t
know the fine pleasure of stripping threads and breaking bolts…
Problem: front tires (Toyo T1-S) completely worn after only 3000 miles/5000
km. Wear is only located to the inner shoulder.
Alignment was done at a reputable shop and all was within specs when the car
was static. There is a print-out of the specs, so at lest there is a proof
for this.
4 questions:
1- When lowering an A4-S4, does the geometry change enough (more
camber at the end of the wheel travel) to cause such wear when braking hard?
The guy is not a racer so I doubt this would be the case…
2- If yes, where can he find some upper links to put things back in
specs?
3- If no, could it be related to tire pressure and/or toe-in/toe-out?
4- Could it be related to a worn part like the links that are so often
replaced on these cars?
Please chine in, specialist and amateur tuners,
Louis-Alain
