A6 2.7t - Alarm goes off in wet weather???????

Anybody have this problem. It is really, really
annoying, as I have to disconnect the battery
otherwise it keeps going off. 
I am thinking there is a short somewhere caused by the
damp weather. We all know about audi and their
electricals..........
Does anybody know how to disengage the horn/light part
of the alarm?
